Rule 56
Bhaipari coming and festival holidays
(1) Civil servants will be allowed to take a total of twelve days of leave every year, including six days of spring leave and six days of festival leave.
(2) The civil servant who comes to Bhaipari and stays on festive leave will get full salary.
(3) Half a day can also be taken for holiday and festival leave. Explanation: For the purpose of this bye-law, "half day" means half of the daily office hours.
(4) One year's vacation and festival leave cannot be accumulated and taken in the next year.
(5) On the basis of a verbal request, the leave granting officer can also grant permission for holiday and festival leave. However, if it happens that way and for giving permission for festival leave, the leave granting officer should keep a record of the same.
